With this voucher The Ice Chef will come to your location and you will receive a 2-hour service of freshly rolled ice-cream. By buying the voucher they are buying into the experience and an element of entertainment as we welcome guests to have a go on the frozen pans to make their own.

We allow the customers to design their own menu, incorporating their favourite flavours to make an ice cream which is personal to them. Includes a toppings bar so each ice cream is full- loaded.

There is a choice of location set-up to incorporate the feel/theme/colour scheme of the event.

All of our materials are bio-degradable and there is no use of single-use plastic.

We can tailor the ice-cream to fit in with any dietary of religious requirements.

Voucher Terms and Conditions

Contract Basics 

  • -We will provisionally hold the agreed date for 5 days
  • -The voucher must be redeemed after the holding time
  • -Check and secure all dates min of two months in advance
  • -If the event is cancelled the voucher will not be refundable with The Ice Chef or Fire FM
  • -You will need to confirm your final menu, event numbers and any special requests at least 21 days prior to the event so we can prepare your final account
  • - If parking is not allocated any fees will be chargeable
  •  - ULEZ and congestion charges will be chargeable to the booking
  • - offer must be used in six months of purchase, please check dates with The Ice Chef team
  •  - electricity must be provided on site and space for the 3m x 3m trailer must be guaranteed
  •  - event menu consists of 4 menu items
  • -This offer is for a two-hour service max of 30 guests.
  • - each guest will receive a bamboo boat one roll serving
  • -Event must be held in the Dorset area.

 

Contract Detail

 

General Terms

This is a contract between you (the client) and The Ice Chef Weddings and Events of 82b Charminster Ave Bournemouth, BH9 1SE. This contract is for services of any, and/or all of planning, preparing, managing and catering for your wedding or event and supply of other services in relation to it.

These terms and conditions are governed and construed in accordance with English Law. If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of these terms and conditions will not be affected but will remain valid and enforceable.

 

Confirmation

Please confirm your reserved date and agreement to these terms and conditions by reading, completing and returning this contract within 14 days of its issue. Bookings will be treated as provisional until we receive a completed contract and deposit. The Ice Chef reserves the right to release any booking for which we have not received a signed contract.

 

Tastings

Where complimentary tastings are offered, the tasting is usually for 2 people. A tasting usually includes a selection of 6 different menu choices.

Payment

The balance of your account is due as cleared funds 14 working days prior to the event. Payments can be made by cash, BACS or Banker’s Draft. We do not accept cheques.

Any function for which advance payment is overdue by more than 5 days may be cancelled by The Ice Chef without notification and any monies due will become immediately payable.

By paying a deposit for an event, the client agrees that once paid, the deposit is non-refundable. Once full payment is received, we are unable to offer refunds or a reallocation of the monies.

In the event of a dispute regarding any part of the invoice, to ensure the event goes ahead, the client will pay the full balance of the sum owing on the due date. The Ice Chef may, at their total discretion offer the client recompense after the event should the dispute be founded.

 

Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation, the client will forfeit any deposits having been made whatever the circumstance. In certain circumstances, and by the discretion of the Management, a deposit may be deferred in order to secure an event on an alternative date.
Any costs incurred for a particular event, that otherwise would not have been incurred; will be charged in the event of cancellation unless The Ice Chef are able to mitigate their loss.

 

Minimum Numbers

The Ice Chef reserves the right to set minimum numbers for guests attending a wedding / function or catering for selected menus. If numbers fall below the set minimum, a charge may be applied. For example, at Sopley barn there is a fixed fee of £250.00 plus VAT payable for less than 70 covers.

 

Menu Choice

For weddings, evening service are available as an option after 8pm. Menus consist of min of two choices and a max of six.

 

Price and Menu Reviews

The Ice Chef reserves the right to change prices and menus due to market fluctuations, food prices and availability. Prices and menu choices will be confirmed on production of final numbers for the event.

 

The Ice Chef Reputation

At the absolute and unfettered discretion of The Ice Chef, any function may be cancelled, even if paid in full, if The Ice Chef has reasonable grounds for believing that the holding of such function would prejudice the reputation, good name, or standing of the Company. Should The Ice Chef cancel an event it may, at its discretion, refund any advance payment made but will have no further liability to the client.

 

Liability

The Ice Chef is not liable for any frustration of this contract caused by strikes, labour disputes, accidents, extreme weather or any other cause beyond the Company’s control and outside the

ordinary and reasonable contemplation of the parties at the time of this contract. In such an event, The Ice Chef shall use reasonable endeavours to offer the client alternative services, if such can be found and are acceptable to the client (such acceptance not to be unreasonably withheld). If this is not possible, however, the Company’s obligation to the client extends up to, and is limited to, the full refund of any deposits held.

Whilst every effort is made to safeguard client and the client’s guest’s property The Ice Chef does not accept any liability for any loss or damage caused. Nor can we be responsible for wedding gifts, decorations or property that have been delivered to or, handed over to a Ice Chef representative.

The Ice Chef reserves the right to pass on to the client any additional costs incurred by them in respect of goods and services requested during the course of the function or caused by the client not adhering to the agreed terms of the services.

 

Client Responsibilities

The client assumes responsibility for the behaviour of their guests. At the total discretion of The Ice Chef and their representatives, any behaviour by the client or their guests that is deemed to be aggressive, threatening, racist or sexist will not be tolerated. In all cases, The Ice Chef reserves the right to withdraw service immediately. In the event of service being withdrawn, no refund or recompense will be due to the client.

 

Other Suppliers

In order to protect our clients and maintain the validity of our insurance, The Ice Chef do not allow any other ice cream supplied by another caterer consumed during an event catered for by ourselves.

In accordance with The General Data Protection Regulations of 2018, The Ice Chef Weddings and Events are committed to protecting your privacy and promise to collect, process and share your data safely and securely when you do business with us.

Direct Marketing

Social Media and Marketing

As part of our service and operations, The Ice Chef respectfully request to use images and information from your event for social media and marketing purposes. This may include our website, brochures and other sales tools. This includes images of you, your guests and your event (preparation, decoration and deployment). If you are happy for us to do so, please mark the box at the end of this contract to approve our use of images and/or video and event information.

General Terms and Conditions
 

1. Area of Application
These Terms and Conditions are valid in the current version at any one time and apply to the relationship between Celador Radio Broadcasting Limited and subsidiaries (“Celador Group”) and Customers.

2. Definitions and Interpretation
2.1. Business Partner means any individual, company or other entity with whom Celador Group have a commercial relationship.
2.2. Contract means the agreement made between Celador Group and the Customer when the Customer completes the online purchase of Vouchers.
2.3. A Customer is an individual who purchases a Voucher online via this site. 
2.4. Purchase Price is the price of the Voucher as stated from time to time on this site. Service Provider means the entity providing the service for which the Voucher has been purchased.
2.5. Voucher means the voucher purchased online this site by the Customer.
2.6. Words in the singular shall include the plural and visa versa.
 
3. Conditions of Purchase
3.1. The Customer is required to make his or her order of the Voucher via the Celador Group website and to follow the instructions therein to complete their order of the Voucher.
3.2. Once the Customer has completed the online process, they shall have entered a legally binding Contract with Celador Group and shall be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
 
4. Conditions of Payment
4.1. Payment for the Voucher must be performed by the Customer exclusively by PayPal or credit or debit card as instructed online. 
4.2. Payment of the Purchase Price is taken in full online and must be completed prior to Celador Group processing the Customer's order.
 
5. Reservation of Proprietary Rights
The Voucher remains the property of Celador Group until the Voucher has been paid for in full and received by the Customer.
 
6. Delivery
6.1. The Voucher will be emailed to the address supplied to Celador Group by the Customer within 24 hours. Please contact us if you have not received your voucher after this time.
6.2. Celador Group reserves its right to refuse to deliver overseas.
6.3. In the event that the Voucher is lost, Celador Group may, but is not obliged to replace the Voucher.
 
7. Termination of the Contract
Celador Group may refuse to complete a Customer's order in certain circumstances which include, but are not limited to;
1. typing, printing or calculation errors on the part of the Customer;
2. where the Customer has any liabilities to Celador Group;
3. where the Voucher are no longer available; or
4. where the Customer has failed to pay the Purchase Price or any other fees due by them.
 
8. Refund Policy
Once purchased, vouchers cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned.
8.1. Should an establishment cease trading within the validity period then a refund will be issued. The Customer can obtain a refund by posting the Voucher to; Suite 2 Paddington House, Festival Place, Basingstoke, Hants, RG21 7LJ. The Voucher must be unused and not damaged.
8.2. Refunds can only be made in the manner prescribed in clause 8.1:
1. To the individual who purchased the Voucher;
2. To the same credit or debit card the Voucher was purchased on; and
3. Refunds cannot be given once a booking has been made, nor on expired or extended vouchers.
8.3. Refunds cannot be given under any other circumstances.
 
9. Guarantee and Liability
9.1. Celador Group liability is hereby limited to the value of the Voucher.
9.2. Celador Group is not responsible for the performance of the Service Provider and does not guarantee or warrant the performance of the Service Provider.
9.3. Should the Customer not be satisfied with the performance of the Service Provider, the Customer may direct their complaint to Celador Group, by contacting Celador Group in the manner prescribed in clause 8. Celador Group shall thereafter take all reasonable steps to investigate the Customer's complaint, but are not obliged to take any further steps.
 
10. Data Protection
10.1. Celador Group shall at all times comply with the applicable laws relating to the processing of Personal Data including the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the European General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR)
10.2. The Customer states his or her consent for the use of Customer data for advertising purposes by Celador Group and the transfer of this data to the Business Partners of Celador Group when completing the order of the Voucher online.
10.3. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, Celador Group and their Business Partners may contact the Customer with information about products, services and special offers.
10.4. Customers details will not be passed onto any non-related third party.
10.5. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.
 
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
11.2. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
 
12. Severance
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be found by any court or other competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extend required, be deemed not to form part of these Terms and Conditions and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected.
 
13. Amendments/Variations
No variation and/or addition to these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless it is agreed in writing and signed by Celador Group.
