Mike Swain

Hi I am Mike and I am FIRE's latest presenter signing. You can catch me on a Friday night between 10pm and midnight playing anything Breakbeat and Drum & Bass orientated.

So about me... I have been DJing since the age of 17 originally playing trancey music. In 2002 I moved to Exeter, where there is a big Drum & Bass and Breaks scene, and caught the DnB bug. I started my radio career here too broadcasting on the student radio station to the Devon masses.

I am now a student at Bournemouth University studying Radio Production, so when not at FIRE you can find me being a wannabe producer at the uni or being the Light Jockey (LJ) at The Old Firestation.

So if you want to try something new, or you just love Breakbeat and Drum & Bass have a listen 10pm 'til midnight on a Friday night... Its better than going out!!
